Barracuda Newlsetter 2026: Season #1
Hey Cudas!
Are you READY for our FIRST swim meet of the season? I can't believe the first meet is almost here! My son has been swimming for three summers now, but I remember feeling very overwhelmed during his first season because I knew nothing about swim, and I was getting tons of emails.
So, to help you prepare, I have your Barracuda Newsletter 2026: Season #1 ready to go! It will be your one-stop-shop-go-to for all of the information you need to get you ready for our upcoming Baraboo meet and all of the upcoming meets, especially if you are new to swim! Please check it out, so we do not have to overwhelm you with emails from seven different people.
Also, please note the change in the practice schedule to tomorrow's practice due to weather! On Friday, June 5th, we are practicing from 4:45 - 5:45 PM at Sauk Prairie High School for any color swimmer that can make it!
Finally, I want to highlight the officiating section in the newsletter because in the busyness of this week, this section may just get a glance, but it is very important! We are desperately in need of officials because we do not have a lot, and our some of our current officials have senior swimmers, so this will be their last season officiating. Nicole Doescher, who is a Cuda parent, does an amazing job at officiating and would love for you to shadow her, so you could find out if you would be interested in officiating! Shadowing is not a commitment to officiating - just a willingness to find out if this volunteer role might be a good fit for you! Please take a look at the officiating section and reach out to Laura at [email protected] if interested!
As always, please reach out with any questions!
Go Cudas!
